Who will win?

The door unlocks
a body enters
tie loosens and shirt unbuttons
let’s out a sigh!

The feet keeps tapping
neither pause for a while
nor he looks around
as nobody is there to say Hi

The phone beeps & vibrates
as it connects to wifi
scrolls through all the messages
but leave them unreplied

“This is suffocating”
he whispers to himself
toss the phone in the air
and sinks in his bed

His hands reach the drawer
and pulls out a cigarette
place it between his teeth
but could not lit the match-stick

He grabs the phone
and unhides a file
“where are you?”
he could not whisper this time

“Call her” suggests his heart
“why can’t her” interrupts the mind
